Hi, I’m Will—a professional heritage painter and decorator based in Ironbridge, serving Shrewsbury and the wider Shropshire area. I handle every aspect of decorating, from simple jobs to the most technical projects, including paper hanging and traditional painting techniques. I take real pride in my work, attention to detail is a given, and I always leave your home exceptionally clean and tidy.
I take on most decorating jobs — modern homes, family houses, and new builds but I have a particular passion for period buildings such as manor houses, barn conversions, listed structures and stately homes as I prefer using traditional materials over today’s modern quick fixes.
Over the past 20 years I’ve been fortunate to work in some of Shropshire’s most prestigious homes, and I can confidently tackle any challenge you bring my way.
INTERIOR DESIGN & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Having worked alongside designers for years, I kept noticing the same thing: high prices for ideas that often weren’t all that far from my own. So I decided to bridge the gap myself and studied interior design and project management at Nottingham University, turning what started as a frustration into a proper niche—especially with heritage properties, where I’ve always felt most at home. Now, alongside a small, trusted crew of tradespeople I’ve worked with for years—covering every trade a renovation might need—I can take a project from concept to completion, all running in the right order.
